  Philip A. Portantino

Philip A. Portantino is concentrating his practice in the areas of labor and employment law. As a new associate of the firm, he will assist with representing management and individual defendants in the private and public sector in all aspects of labor and employment. Mr. Portantino will work with clients in a broad range of matters, including discrimination, sexual harassment, whistleblower status, retaliation, employment agreements, restrictive covenant and trade secret matters, contract issues, business torts and wage and hour issues.

Upon receiving his J.D., Mr. Portantino clerked for the Honorable James M. DeMarzo, J.S.C. in the Criminal Division, in Morris County Superior Court from 2014-2015. He is licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey, United States District Court, District of New Jersey, and the State of New York. He is also a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association.

While in law school, Mr. Portantino served as the Executive Editor for the Rutgers Journal of Law & Public Policy and published Finding the Treasure Without Walking the Plank: The Critical Need for Property Tailored Anti-Piracy Laws.
